Home ownership is in the Liberal Party’s DNA, it is a stable economic foundation for families that allows them to prosper and build wealth independently of the government.
Currently in Western Australia, there is a need to build at least 125,000 homes over the next five years to meet our surging population growth.
That’s why yesterday, alongside my deputy, The Hon Steve Martin MLC, I was proud to announce our $500 million dollar Housing Infrastructure Investment Fund to tackle the Cook Labor Government’s housing crisis.
Under our plan, we will directly invest in two main programs, firstly our $300 million Enabling Infrastructure Program to enable the efficient delivery of projects like greenfield housing which will see 90,000 homes delivered.
Secondly, our $200 million Apartment support program, this program will unlock 10,000 apartments across Western Australia.
Only a Mettam Liberal Government will build the homes and slash the taxes to get more Western Australians into homes of their own.

KEEPING THE LIGHTS ON IN KALGOORLIE
A Mettam Liberal Government will reverse Roger Cook’s neglect of the Goldfields’ power supply, putting an end to lost stock, lost wages and shuttered small businesses.
Roger Cook ignoring the rolling blackouts in Kalgoorlie is pushing the cost of living up for voters, with lost stock for small businesses, and lost wages for their workers.
When businesses across the Goldfields keep losing hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of stock, they have no choice but to pass on the cost to consumers.
A Mettam Liberal Government will partner with Northern Star Resources to deliver an electricity guarantee to Kalgoorlie, an announcement I was proud to make alongside our local candidate Rowena Olsen at her campaign launch last weekend.
Under a Mettam Liberal Government, Western Power will work constructively with Northern Star and the existing generation assets of other private suppliers to take excess capacity, not required by KCGM, to stabilise energy supply in the Goldfields while new generation capacity is developed.
Only the WA Liberals will secure our state's energy supply.
DELIVERING FOR GERALDTON
Our regional health services have been neglected by the Cook Labor Government.
From Tom Price to Margaret River, nowhere has suffered more under Roger Cook’s unprecedented health divestment than regional Western Australia.
Last week I traveled up to Geraldton to campaign alongside our candidate, Tim Milnes, to announce that a Mettam Liberal Government will deliver radiation oncology services in Geraldton, servicing patients throughout the Midwest.
Now, Geraldton locals who need cancer radiation treatment have to travel to Perth.
That means five hours each way in the car, or regular flights – either way that is far too expensive and is both emotionally and physically exhausting for both cancer patients and their families.
Geraldton is the third largest city in Western Australia – locals in the Midwest deserve access to this basic treatment.
Melissa Price delivered $9 million of critical Federal funding back in 2019, but WA Labor was too incompetent to deliver the project, which has seen costs increase.
A Mettam Liberal Government will deliver this vital service.
We will deliver $16 million out of our Regional Health Development Initiative to put an end to the games and give the Midwest community the cancer services they deserve.
As a Mum who grew up in Geraldton, I know the importance of getting good quality healthcare close to home.
