POLICY COMMITTEE REPORT

This has been a big month for our Party.

I again thank each of you for getting in touch with the Policy Committee after the last State Council to provide your feedback.

It is time to move forwards with renewed leadership.

Our Party has a strong team ready to offer robust opposition and a compelling narrative to the people of Western Australia.

We also head into the next Federal Election campaign with Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash as Leader of the Opposition in the Senate for the first time — a proud moment for our great state.

The road ahead is long yet paved with endless opportunities.

Only a Dutton Coalition Government has the policies and priorities that will secure Western Australia’s future and get Australia back on track.

After the 2025 Federal Election, we will turn our minds to long term policy development ahead of the next Federal Election in 2028 and then the WA State Election in 2029.

Now is the time to build, to reconnect and to prepare for each step along this journey.

The Policy Committee will be working hard to support our candidates and our campaigns with ideas that cut through and reflect the values we all share.

We’re here to listen, to engage and to assist with policy advice that serves the best interests of our state and nation.
